Scope

This Policy explains how My AI Dock LLC (“Clear Energy Facts,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our site.

Information we collect

• Account: email and password hash; optional profile info.
• Inputs: ZIP code, address elements you provide, preferences, and settings.
• Smart Meter Texas (SMT) data, with your consent: interval usage and identifiers needed to request usage (for example ESIID).
• Uploads: bills or documents you choose to upload so we can extract fields (for example ESIID, meter number, service address).
• Device and cookies: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referral, and basic analytics.
• Support: messages and metadata from support tools.

How we use information

• To show plan options and estimate total costs.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site (including analytics, debugging, and model validation).
• To provide support and communicate about features or policy changes.
• To enforce our Terms and prevent abuse.

De-identified aggregation for area averages (with consent)

With your permission, we may transform your usage data into de-identified, aggregated statistics to compute area averages that help users who do not have their own data. We do not publish or share address-specific usage.

Sharing

• Service providers that process data for hosting, analytics, support, document parsing, SMT connectors, and similar functions, under contracts that limit use to our instructions.
• Legal purposes when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or similar, with appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal data to electricity providers or sponsors, and we do not share data with providers for enrollment or marketing. When you enroll, you do so directly on the provider’s website.

Retention

• SMT tokens/usage: kept while needed for your account and deleted on request. We may retain de-identified aggregates that no longer identify you.
• Uploads: deleted after parsing; extracted fields relevant to your account may be retained.
• Accounts/logs: retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for security, operations, or legal compliance.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards (TLS in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No method is 100% secure.

Your choices and rights

• Disconnect SMT and request deletion of imported usage.
• Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing support@clearenergyfacts.com.
• Manage non-essential emails via unsubscribe links.
• Manage cookies in your browser settings (some features may be limited without cookies).

Children’s privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will post a notice on the site or email you.
